About

Bright, textural Chenin with quiet complexity. Australia's most underrated white grape, made by serious people — Rob Mann (ex-Cape Mentelle) brings real pedigree to this Swan Valley project.

Corymbia began in 2013 as the Manns' return home. Rob is a sixth-generation Swan Valley winemaker who learned alongside his grandfather Jack Mann. Genevieve made wine in South Africa, France and California before the pair settled back west.

The Chenin comes from Rocket's Vineyard, the Mann family block planted in the 1980s and farmed on organic principles. The winemaking is old-school: hand picking, wild yeast, fermentation in oak, natural malolactic.

It drinks with more texture than most Australian white wine. Apple and pear fruit carries a honeyed edge and a clear mineral line. Open it with roast pork, a mild curry or a cheese board, anywhere a thin white would disappear.

Producer note

Rob Mann (ex-Cape Mentelle) and Genevieve Mann's Swan Valley project — small-batch, single-vineyard wines.
