About
Shumi's Tsinandali follows the traditional Kakhetie AOP blend of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane, cold-fermented in stainless steel to keep it fresh and fruit-driven rather than skin-contact or oaked. Pale straw with green highlights, it opens with lemon, lime, green apple and feijoa, and carries lively acidity through to a fine, mineral, mouth-watering finish.
Producer note
Shumi Winery was founded in 1997 in the Alazani River Valley at the foot of the Gombori Range in Kakheti — the traditional cradle of Georgian wine — and produces the Tsinandali blend alongside indigenous varieties such as Saperavi from the same eastern-Kakheti heartland.
