About

The classic Provence template: pale pink, delicate red berries, citrus, floral, no sweetness, no weight. The reliable pick when someone wants 'a Provence rosé' with no surprises.

The Fabre family have run Château de l'Aumérade since 1930, when Henri and Charlotte Fabre bought the estate. The property at Pierrefeu-du-Var goes back around four centuries, and it holds Provence's Cru Classé rank.

The vines grow on red clay and limestone around Pierrefeu, with sea winds moving through them. Those soils drain well, and the breeze keeps the fruit fresh through the southern summer.

Drink it the way Provence does. Cold, early in the evening, with prawns, oysters, or not much at all. Buy it for a warm afternoon and drink it young, while the fruit is at its brightest.

Producer note

Château de l'Aumerade is a long-established Provence estate. This is the dependable, textbook end of Provençal rosé.
