About

100% Marsanne from granite and alluvial slopes in the northern Rhone, made by Cave de Tain, the grower co-operative at the foot of the Hermitage hill founded in 1933. Stainless-steel fermentation keeps it fresh and lively: pale yellow with green reflections, a richly expressive bouquet of white daisy flowers and citrus, then ripe peach, jasmine and gentle minerality with zesty fruit through the finish. Jeb Dunnuck rated it 92 points. Serve well chilled.

Producer note

Cave de Tain is the leading co-operative of the northern Rhone — over 300 grower-members farming around 1000 hectares from its base in Tain-l'Hermitage.
