Made by Caleigh Hunt and Luke Growden at their boutique McLaren Vale winery, Year Wines, using organic or biodynamic fruit and minimal intervention to let the vintage and the site show through. Fiano sits alongside Shiraz, Grenache, Nero d'Avola and Vermentino in their small, hand-worked range — reviewers have singled out their fiano specifically as 'layered', in keeping with the producer's textural, considered house style.
Producer note
Year Wines is the small McLaren Vale label of winemakers Caleigh Hunt and Luke Growden, founded on the philosophy of making honest, expressive wines that reflect the vintage, the variety and the place. Luke Growden was named a Young Gun of Wine finalist in 2020.
