About
Made from the earliest-maturing shiraz grapes off the Eskadale block, this Langhorne Creek red is matured for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak. Young, vibrant blackberry carries floral lift, with plum and mocha rounding out a layered, full-bodied palate. A fruit-forward, typical Langhorne Creek shiraz that leans on power as much as finesse.

Eskadale Vineyards was established in 1998 in Langhorne Creek, South Australia. The estate's vineyards benefit from long sunshine hours and cooling Southern Ocean breezes, suited to shiraz and cabernet sauvignon, alongside smaller holdings of chardonnay, viognier and frontignac.
