About

Produced from Usher Tinkler's dedicated Prosecco vineyard in Pokolbin — Glera vines grafted onto 30-year-old Semillon rootstock rather than planted from scratch, making this one of the few Hunter Valley-grown Proseccos. A crisp, easygoing sparkling white built for casual drinking, fresh and floral rather than ceremonial.

Producer note

Usher Tinkler farms this vineyard specifically for Prosecco, grafting the Glera onto three-decade-old Semillon vines instead of a fresh planting — an unusual approach for a region built on Semillon and Shiraz.

From a family house on the Rive di Guia that makes nothing but Valdobbiadene DOCG, this is the appellation's most typical style: 100% hand-picked Glera from steep south-facing hillsides at 200 to 250 metres, fermented by the Conegliano Valdobbiadene method with 30 to 40 days on lees in autoclave. Pale straw yellow with a dry, delicate palate, perfect acidity, balanced softness and a fruity citrus aftertaste — the low dosage leaves the fruit's aromas at full expression. Serve well chilled as an aperitif or straight through a meal.

Pale pink with a fine, persistent bead: strawberry, raspberry, grapefruit and green apple with roasted almond and brioche behind, crisp acidity against a touch of gentle sweetness, finishing dry. Bright, juicy and seriously refreshing. Vegan friendly.
