About
A crisp, brut-dry Blanc de Blancs made entirely from Chardonnay grown on an elevated, exposed site in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. Made using the Charmat (tank-fermented) method rather than traditional bottle fermentation, it carries a fine, persistent bead, plenty of regional minerality and a tangy green apple and lemon character with a touch of orange blossom. Built to be poured young and chilled, not cellared.
Producer note
Troppo is Unico Zelo's everyday, lower-priced range, sold alongside Unico Zelo's mainline wines through the same retailers. This Blanc de Blancs is tank-fermented using the Charmat method — the same process used for Prosecco — rather than traditional bottle fermentation, keeping it bright, simple and gulpable.
