Spring Seed NV Sparkling Red

'Wanderer' blends several vintages of the Bosworth family's own McLaren Vale red grapes, predominantly Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, into a non-vintage sparkling red. The base wine is gently picked and open-fermented, pressed off skins and finished in stainless steel, with some parcels aged in oak before Joch Bosworth selects the final blend and sends it through secondary fermentation for its fizz. The result pours a vibrant bright purple, with a nose of blueberries, plum, black cherry and a hint of violets. Serve chilled as an aperitif or alongside a full spread of food.

The Bosworth family has farmed this McLaren Vale vineyard since the early 1970s, and it has been certified organic since 1999. Every drop in the Spring Seed range, including Wanderer, comes from their own estate-grown fruit.

Spring Seed Wine Co is the more experimental sibling label to the family's Battle of Bosworth range. It shares the same certified organic vineyard and the same estate winemaking team.

Wanderer is vegan-friendly and gluten-free. It drinks best well chilled, straight from an ice bucket. Pour it at a party or alongside a full plate of food.
