About
An even split of Shiraz from two valleys, Eden Valley off vines over forty years old and Barossa Valley off vines over sixty. Each half ferments on its own in concrete vats before the blend is made. The nose runs to kirsch, lavender, sage and charred meat, and the palate is dense and deep with black plum, blackberry and cured meat.
Producer note
Dave Powell has worked in Barossa wine for over forty years and now runs Neldner Road Vintners from Lyndoch, drawing on the warm Marananga side of the Barossa and the cooler Flaxman's Valley in the Eden Valley.
