First Creek is a family winery in the Hunter, run by Liz, Shaun and Greg Silkman, and it has made wine there since 1998. Liz Silkman is the chief winemaker. Halliday's Wine Companion named her Winemaker of the Year for 2025, and she has been Hunter Valley Winemaker of the Year four times.

Sémillon is the Hunter's signature white grape, and this bottling is the estate's early-release take on it. The 2025 arrives only months off the vine, so you are catching it at its zestiest.

Drink it young and cold. It suits a hot afternoon, fish and chips by the water, or the first glass poured before dinner comes together.
