Sourced mostly (86%) from Xanadu's own Boodjidup and Stevens Road vineyards in the Wallcliffe sub-region of Margaret River, filled out with fruit from Wilyabrup and Treeton. Crushed and destemmed, fermented in rotary and static fermenters, with part of the blend given extended skin maceration before a gentle press, then matured 14 months in French oak barriques (20% new). The palate is generous with dark forest fruit, cassis and chocolate, medium- to full-bodied, carried by supple, ripe tannins to a persistent finish marked by regional notes of bay leaf, black olive and licorice.

Gricos is Grifalco's everyday Aglianico del Vulture, made from the younger vines across their Basilicata sites. Black cherry and black pepper on the nose, floral on the palate, with the graphite minerality typical of Vulture. Certified organic fruit grown on volcanic soil at 500 metres, aged six months in a mix of large barrel and barrique, then six months in stainless steel. Meaty and substantial, but vinified in a forward style meant to be drunk young.

Bogle draws this Zinfandel from old vines in Lodi and Amador County. The nose runs to forest berries, ripe currants and raspberry, with cracked black pepper, wild juniper and dried sage and thyme behind them. The palate is rich with sour cherry, red and black berry and gentle baking spice, plus toasted coconut from fourteen months in two-year-old American oak. Bright, well-integrated acidity gives it lift, and a little berry sweetness rounds out the texture.
