About
A more concentrated, serious Montepulciano. Dark cherry, plum, fine tannin, savoury depth. The mid-tier Italian red that drinks above its price.
Fiorano is a small certified organic farm at Cossignano, in the southern Marche. The vines for Fluente grow in the Sacrì vineyard at 300 metres and are around 30 years old. The farm feeds the soil with legume green manure and cover crops rather than bought fertiliser.
In the cellar the wine ferments spontaneously on native yeasts and stays in stainless steel the whole way. With no oak in the picture, the grape does all the talking.
The Slow Wine guide named Fluente a Top Wine for 2026. Open it with a rich pasta, a roast, or a wedge of aged cheese, and it will not get lost behind any of them.
