About
Lemon myrtle gives a citrus and herbal lift you won't find anywhere else. A genuinely distinctive Australian liqueur — great talking point.
The balance is what sells it. Sweetness sits mid-scale, well short of syrup, and a faint bitter edge keeps the citrus tasting fresh instead of confected. The body stays light, so it lifts a drink without weighing it down.
Build it as a spritz and stop there. Thirty millilitres over ice, prosecco or soda on top, a twist of lemon peel if you have one. The lemon myrtle carries all the aromatics, so the glass needs nothing else.
It also works neat from the freezer as a small after-dinner pour. Keep it cold either way. Warmth pushes the sweetness forward and blurs the herbal edge that makes this bottle worth having.
